A Small Self-Sacrifice

I was at Jollibee last Monday, planning to eat just fries and chill there. Suddenly, this guy approached me and said he wanted me to be part of their photo shoot thing for their annual report. Thinking that I was there anyway, and it wouldn't hurt to play along I agreed to be part of it. He told me that all I had to do was go about my own business and just be there. So I just went on eating and using my phone. :))

There were also three others who were part of the scene, so it was all good.

After a while, spaghetti and pineapple juice materialized before me. They told me that it was just props so, I was okay with it. I was already kind of full at that time, so I wasn't planning on eating it. :P A little more setting up was done, then they signaled the start of the photo shoot. And they made me eat the spaghetti.

Free food.

But there was one itsy bitsy problem - I wasn't supposed to eat meat that day.

At first, I was very hesitant 'cause I was both full and not supposed to eat meat. But I said, meh. Nakakahiya naman magback out. :)) So I ate some and drank some juice and continued to eat some more. Act natural daw eh, so I did my best. =))

In a short while, it was all over. As a final surprise, they handed all of us P100 gift certificates. =)) TALK ABOUT NAKALIBRE. It was such a crazy moment of my life. :))

We all signed waivers as if our pictures could be used for voodoo and cause our deaths, and then we we're done. I finished the rest of my spaghetti because I didn't want to show them any sign of rejection for the free things they gave us. Nakakahiya lang talaga, but I was already so full and guilty. :))

I'm officially a model. :> Or at least an extra. =))

-Frobby-

PS: One of those others was Kris. I was with her. :)) They also instructed us to talk to each other, eye contact required. I was just saying anything I could think of, like "Mag-usap raw tayo, so game! Usap tayo! Magsabi ka lang ng kahit ano!" =)) The other two people laughed because of what I said. :)) It was super fun!

Abandoned!

I guess after the super slowerage of my posting, many people stopped visiting my blog. So mostly no one gets to read the things I've been putting here. More proof in the chatbox. :P

I don't really want to advertise it anymore. :))
Nakakatamad na eh. Hahaha!

Oh well, I'm still going to post. :)

Rent Flesh

I know that I love eating meat, but seeing raw cuts of pork in the meat section of the grocery earlier made me cringe a bit.

If they're already small and indistinguishable from the animals they came from, I'll be totally fine with seeing it. But the pork pata cut is still a whole, very much recognizable leg. And the one I saw a while ago (which my mom bought shortly afterwards) had the pig's thumb hanging on just by a tiny bit of skin and had a deep cut on somewhere on the elbow-ish joint. I felt sick after seeing that and just stopped observing. It was a bit too much for me, and I was surprised that I felt that way. :|

No, I'm not going to stop eating meat any time soon. :)) But I won't be the one buying it from a grocery. I guess I'm quite sensitive when it comes to blood, wounds and dead things.

Which is weird, because I can stomach super violent video games naman. =))

But real things are just 120109218309 times worse than virtual things. :P
So yeah, no meat shopping for me. Hahaha.

Surprises

Really, I think you can most easily be made happy if your expectations have been lowered. A surprise can just totally bring the house down for you after you begin anticipating disappointment. :)

Thank you so much for what you did.
You really surprised me, and I'm sorry for thinking that you wouldn't be able to stay true to what you said anymore.

You really made my day. :D

One Fine Resolution

One of the resolutions I made during the start of 2010 was to blog at least 15 times a month. Well, I'm kind of way below that count but I hope to make up for it by making a TON of catch-up posts. The thing about this blog is that not all of the posts should be super long and full of meaning. So I'm going to use that to my advantage and bump up the number of posts in the coming months.

I need quite a bit of push for this project though *wink wink* so please help me make it through this year as a consistent blogger. :)

That's going on my goals list!

15 posts x 12 months = 180 posts

That means 180 posts by the end of 2010.

Let's do this.

Goal # 7:
180 posts by the end of 2010.

28/180

-Frobby-

Goal Update.

Goals:

1. To lose 12 pounds -
Uhh. I'm putting this on hold.

2. ????? - 5/5 (Done!) 18/25 -
It's been so long, but at least this got a +1 today. :)

3. To find the course that I'm sure I want -
Getting closer. I've narrowed it down to 2 choices.

4. To watch Paramore live
Nah. I don't really feel like it anymore.

5. To get my PC fixed
Probably this summer. I really hope so.

6. To finish Fallout: New Vegas

COME OUT ALREADY. :((((

About Me: Thinking

So I haven't been able to blog lately because of the supercrazy schedules we've been having in school. Projects galore and exams kasi eh, tapos throw in a bit of Hilites pa. :)) It's a complicated life I live. Well, not really. Hahaha.

I just want to say that I've had some time to get to know myself more. It's interesting to find out things about yourself that you wouldn't really notice unless you paid attention. It's even more interesting to find out the flaws you have and trying to do something about it. Self-improvement can be a really difficult thing to face, but hey, it's really worth it.

Contrary to popular belief, my greatest distraction is not computer usage. :P I actually waste more time drifting through connected thoughts during the times when I should be doing something else. Thinking, surprisingly, takes up so much time for me that it eats up quite a large part of my time in each day. Yeah, sure, it sounds kind of loser-introvert-nerd when said but my thoughts mean a lot to me. Hey, even this blog is dedicated to house and preserve the thoughts which I deem worthy of keeping for a long time. :) I just like thinking about things because I believe that doing so will give me a better understanding of my world and life. That helps me a lot.

What sucks though, is that even if I understand what's wrong and what I need to do, I have a very flimsy sense of willpower. One moment, I can be shouting at myself in my head and telling myself to fix a certain thing I noticed was wrong and the next could be spent doing the very thing I wanted to change. I have to change that about me, but trying to will be like requiring myself to enter a locked room whose only key can be found inside. The solution is within the problem.

But self-improvement has really been my main goal in recent times. I want to be better because I know I can be better. This isn't me at my full potential. And I doubt I'm anywhere close.

I need help. But in the end, it's only I who can help myself realize my goals.

Happiness Hunting

Happiness is just hearing that what you have done made a positive difference to people you know.

I just want to look for sources of happy right now. It's quite heartwarming to hear words that make the things you do matter.

Robby: We (Hilites Magazine) got two Teddies?
Robby: How come I don't hear about these things?
Orville: YEAH!!
Robby: :))
Orville Zosa: you didn't know?
Orville Zosa: =))
Orville Zosa: teamwork
Orville Zosa: and breakthrough project for the sesqui
Orville Zosa: :>
Robby: Well, of course. :>
Orville Zosa: CONGRATS!!
Robby: :))

I did quite a lot for Hilites' Sesqui Issue. And it really made me happy so much good things from people when it came out. Especially when our moderator congratulated the Org for a job well done. More than a month after the issue came out, and it still gets recognition. And this time, it's official. Good work, Hilites. :D

And of course, good job to you too, Robby. :)

Last Saturday, I helped Lian with her speech by thinking up and trying out the demonstration she wanted to present. I took pictures of the whole test, which she ended up using instead of having to redo the demo in front.

Robby: Kamusta naman yung speech mo? Hahaha.
Lian: ok naman!
Lian: :)

...

Lian: may nagcomment sakin... "commendable illustration" :>
Lian: naks
Robby: WOAH. :))
Robby: HAHAHA.
Lian Vega: NAKS NAMAN SA ILLUSTRATION MO ANO
Lian Vega: :>

...

Robby: Galing
Robby: Tumeamwork tayo ah. :))
Robby: Buti na lang bored ako nun!
Lian: :>
Lian: I KNOW RIGHT
Lian: I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL
Lian: =))
Robbeh: YES NAMAN
Robbeh: GUMAGANON.
Robbeh: =))

So those are two of the things that made my day. :)
I'mma go get my spear and hunt for some more. :>

-Frobby-

What were you saying? *bite bite bite*

Dogs can't understand us when we speak. If one was chasing after you, and you screamed "DON'T BITE ME, I DON'T TASTE GOOD!" at it, it would still go after you and eventually bite you. Even if the dog has been with you as a pet for several years, it would only be able to understand basic commands.

When I got home from school today, I immediately played with our dog. Bagong ligo and bagong toothbrush kasi, so ang bango pa niya. Hahaha. I just kept hugging it, lifting it up, scratching its tummy, petting its head and stuff like that. Chuckie's awesome.

And when I was lying down on the floor, quite tired from all that playing with him, he started going after my hand and was licking it. I didn't really mind until it started biting. I could tolerate it, but got annoyed after some time so I hid my hand from him. I started pressing his head down while petting him so that he couldn't bite my hand, and he just laid down for a while. He stopped, but later on resumed biting. This time, I just let him bite all he wanted.

I didn't like his biting, but that's just how puppies are. They bite stuff because their teeth itch. I understood that, so I never took it against Chuckie.

How is it that I can understand my dog, but not people that are really close to me, for doing things that might not exactly make me happy? It makes me feel stupid when I think about it that way.

Change that, Robby.
Change the things you think are stupid.

I wish I was more understanding.
I don't want to be so selfish.

Thought Splurge # 2

Hellooooo, everyone!

I've been so stressed and busy lately. School is just so tiring. Burn out na kung burn out. :))
Currently blogging on Daddy's Blackberry. It's going to be gone soon, might as well use it up. >:) Wahahaha! Wawasakin at uubusin ko 'to. :>

Okay, super sabaw naman you, Robby. =)) Pagbigyan niyo na ako please, abo na lang 'ata natitira sa skull ko. Nasunog na yung utak ko completely. :| Gusto ko tuloy kumain ng barbeque or something. =P~ HOMAYGAAAAAHD. =))))

Konti na lang, summer ko na! 2 weeks na lang, then exams na. I'm uper excited, friends. I'm sooooo ready for boredom talaga. Ayoko naaaa! :)) Mas mabuti nang mabato kaysa mapuyat! I think. Pero I bet, in two months, I'll be wanting to go to school na. =)) AY, hindi pala! Ayoko pa maging Senioooor. :(( I wanna stay in HS pa rin. Booooooo.

College. Ugh, not for me. :))
Sa totoo lang, ayoko na magcollege eh.
Bum na lang me! :D

Anyway, ang sabog ko na. Hahaha.
I'll try to blog in the coming days. :)

Dreams

How often is it that you're in control of your dreams?

For me, never. I don't ever get to control my dreams. :( I really, really want to though. It would be really great to do anything you want, being limited only by your imagination. Wow. :))

But actually, I'd rather have some of my dreams the way they are. If I've ever told you about any of them, you'd know how weird most of them are. And I mean that with much innocence. :D They're just plain crazy and random. Hahaha.

Sometimes, I get such interesting dreams that I force myself back to sleep when I wake up. And that's not that rare of an occurence! Kung meron lang kasing save points sa dreams, ang saya nun o. Haha! You'll have an alternate story about yourself to follow when you're asleep. :D

I love how my dreams are, because they put me in scenarios that I could never think myself into. In a sense, I'm more creative when I'm unconscious. =)) Strange, I know. But it's awesome.

It also works against me sometimes, though. When I have bad days, I'm almost 100% sure to get a nightmare. And in these bad dreams, negative realities are pushed to their extremes and I just wake up feeling horrible. That's why it's a policy for me to always try my best to end my day on a high note.

I wish there was a way to induce dreams when you sleep every night. :))

Thought Splurge # 1

Made yesterday, 6pm in Cafe Azul. :)

Wargh, I'm getting fetched at 7 pm pa. Hahaha.

It's already 6 now, but stiiiiilll! I really want to go home na and sleeeeep. Ngayon na nga lang ako makakatulog, late pa ako makakauwi. :| But nope, I'm still in school. Cafe Azul, finished eating Pork Barbeque and my Math HW. :)) I have Kit's laptop with me naman, so I decided to blog. Ngayon na lang ako nagkatime ulit eh! :D

I absolutely have no more money. 50 more pesos to spend for the rest of the week. That's 3 more days. =)) OH GAAAAHD.

The good news is that I'll be able to save a bit more money a week because someone's busy and I can't meet her anymore. :P Hahaha! Pero ayos lang yan. :> Pursue your dreams!

I'm finally done with a chunk of the major tasks assigned to me, so I get to ease off a bit. Finished everything Hilites last night. That's the Elections and Fair guide, and I can say that I'm REALLY proud of myself. Ang ganda! Hahaha, and I wasn't even required to do the Elections guide. Overachiever ako eh, what can I say. :))

Last week was one of the most hellish weeks in my High School life. @-) Glad that it's over.

Sarap. :D

SORRY, RANDOM. =))

Frozen Flafa

Someone's busy again, so
I'M TAKING OVER!! >:)

As you can see, his last blog was last Thursday pa and I don't think he can blog pa tonight.
So ako na lang. =))

HAHAHAHAHA!

Well, I've been really busy too lately but now I'm really bored and I have nothing to do.
Oh, I can read a book.

Ayy, let's talk about the book that I am currently reading na lang. :> It's entitled What Should I Do With My Life? By Po Bronson. So far, so good. I've been realizing a lot, but I won't tell you. >:P Read it.

As you can see, I really have nothing to say.
Anyway, sorry for wasting you time, dear bloggers.
I'll blog something decent next time, when I'm not sabaw. Teehee.

About Me: Sleeping

I love to sleep, it's one of the BEST THINGS EVER IN THIS WORLD. But ironically, I don't get very much of it. :))

There are 3 reasons I can think of which stop me from partaking in this precious treasure of the world.

  1. Procrastination
  2. Distractions
  3. Coffee

The first is simple. The later I finish my homework, the less time I have for sleep. Which is really crappy, since this is usually the reason I lose sleep. But I am just so laaaazy, so yeah. :D

The second one, while not a very good reason to lose sleep, is very annoying because it's hard to close that YouTube window when more and more interesting videos appear on that bar on the side. @-) Nakakaadik talaga sometimes eh. Hahaha! That's just an example. So many other things can keep me awake, and they're all mostly totally useless.

The third is just... :| HAHAHA. But sometimes, I lay awake in the afternoons with nothing to do just because I craved for coffee. And that happens quite a lot. BUT I LOVE COFFEE, YOU CAN'T SPLIT US APART. >:(

Despite not being able to spend a lot of quality time with my good friend Sleep, I love him all the same. :> I still wish I got to hang with him more often though. :))

About Me: Vampireness

I am not linking myself to the stupid, glittering vampire named Edward Cullen in anyway. Not at all. :|

What I mean to talk about here is my Reverse Energy Vampireness.

What's that, Robby?

It's my ability to stay awake and get very little amounts of sleep but still function properly the next day. Minsan pa nga, nahhyper ako on the next day kahit wala akong tulog eh. :))

It's "reverse energy", because more sleep doesn't exactly mean more energy for me!

It works like this:

CHECK IT OUUUUT!

The catch is that even if I'm not all zombie-like with little amounts of sleep, I still become super sabaw. :))

Buuut, that was all before. Now I just fall asleep so easily. It's kind of disappointing really. I DON'T LIKE BEING NORMAL! FFFFWWWWAAAAA-

Oh well. Sleep's a necessity now, whether I like it or not. :(

Musical Horizon

Often, I'd only be stuck listening to a set of around 1-5 bands at any given period of time. I have a small list of artists that I really like listening to and I keep listening to their songs again. Nakakatulong rin kasi yung mentality ko na idownload agad lahat ng songs ng isang artist na magustuhan ko kahit isang song palang yung naririnig ko from that singer or band. :))

There was one time (most of First Year HS) when I listened only to Hillsong United and Switchfoot. Yun lang talaga! Hahaha, and sobrang nasawa ako sa Switchfoot because of that. Early in second year, I rarely listened to music kasi wala naman akong ibang mapakinggan.

Then in Second Year, I began to broaden my list. I added Coldplay, Paramore, The Killers, Katy Perry, Lifehouse, The Script, Fireflight, Starfield and Superchick to name a few. Then I was satisfied, and stuck to listening their songs for a loooong period of time.

At the start of Third Year, Weezer became my favorite band. Then just recently, I decided to expaaaand my music base some more.

I discovered Coda.fm. =)) Sobrang dali na tuloy magdownload ng albums! I just went there, and dinownload ko lang lahat ng albums na nakita ko by artists who showed up as similar to the bands I already listened to. :)) Kahit hindi ko talaga alam yung mga songs. Wahahaha!

So there, I have yet to listen to a crapload of songs that I don't know about. But so far, some of them have been great. :D

I'm not really picky when it comes to music. :))

Blaaa

Hello! I'm a guest blogger here. :))
Robby asked me blog for him but I said no, but then again I thought of surprising him.
Teehee. ;;)

ANYWAY.

Remember when I shared that my sister and I are planning to buy a dog?
Well she bought a dog already.
Yayyy for uss!

It's not a Lhasa Apso though, it's a Basset Hound. My sister named her Darla because I don't know. :)) Darla's the new craze here. If we're bored, we play with Darla. Before we sleep, we worry about where Darla will sleep. Whenever we go down, we look for her first and play with her.
She's just toooooo cute to be ignored.

ISN'T SHE LOVELY?? ;;)

Moving on...

I just finished watching Zombieland, and it was, uhh, okay. :) Maybe I expected too much from the movie because Robby really liked loved it. But for me it was okay.

I'm not really into movies that doesn't have a story. It's all about those 4 people who were stuck in Zombieland, THEN WHAT? Hahahahaha! The movie was entertaining though, so I guess it's okay. I'd give it 2.5 stars. Hahahahahaha! Sorry Robby. :P

After watching, I really wanted to play L4DII. I don't know why but I'm really addicted with that game. I love killing zombiesssss! =))) GAHD, I'm such a weirdo at times. It's the perfect past time for me. @-)

Yeah, call me one of the boys, I don't care. I love playing L4DII. It pumps up my energy. =)))))))) WHAT?

Kay, enough of my weirdness. Time to tell Robby about this. =))

Tata!

About Me: Food OCD

When I eat my food, I eat them each type one by one.
It annoys me when the spaghetti mixes with the corn and carrots. :))

For example, I order a Cheeseburger meal at Mcdo and get a Hot fudge Sundae plus a Chicken and Spaghetti combo. (Isipin mo na lang na nanggaling ako sa desert and hindi pa ako nakakakain in 3 years. :D) I will finish each one before moving to the next type of food.

Fries, Cheeseburger, Spaghetti, Chicken, Sundae.
Siomai, Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, Steamed Chicken, Almond Jelly.
Caesar Salad, Calamares, Garlic Bread, Carbonara, Quattro Formaggio.

There is always an order. If you give me any list of food right now, I'd be able to know how I would eat it the moment I finish reading the list and understanding what I'm about to eat. :P Hahaha!

Woah, nababawasan yung Filipino sentences ko lately ah! :|

The Perfect Coloring Material

What's your favorite coloring material?

Gah, this is one of the hardest things to answer for me. And believe me, I still haven't found the perfect one after many years of searching. For me, there are many criteria to consider.

1. The perfect coloring material can make consistent lines.

To explain this one in the easiest possible way, I'm going to use an example that ULTIMATELY BREAKS THIS CRITERION. (Naks, singular form ng criteria. :> ) CRAYONS cannot do this. I hate crayons. They suck. Really. Boo, crayons. I hope all crayons die. Even Crayola Twistables which are nice looking, but are just EXPENSIVE CRAYONS in PLASTIC CASES. Crayons can't write for crap. Unless you press hard, they will never make consistent lines. NO, I AM NOT JUST BAD AT USING CRAYONS. HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME. >:(

Ugly crayon lines. INCONSISTENT.

So there. I don't like seeing white lines or spots on the things I draw.

2.  The perfect coloring material is portable and can be used pretty much anywhere.

You shouldn't need water and old newspapers when using them. Just bring your set, and you can start coloring immediately. This means no more sharpening as well. The perfect coloring material is handy! ;)

3. The perfect coloring material isn't messy.

Your hands won't look like you just sliced the stomach of a frog which just ate a rainbow cake open.

4. The perfect coloring material doesn't make you take 10 years to color a circle red.

Fine tips are pretty, but it'll take you ages to get anything done with them since they can't fill spaces up easily.

5. The perfect coloring material does not seep through the paper.

Water-based coloring materials just suck if the paper you use them on can't be used back-to-back anymore. Sayang yung other side eh. Especially if your designing your planner or notebook.

Let's see.

Crayo- NO, JUST NO.
KO'd at Rule 2 - Paint, Colored Pencils and Printer
KO'd at Rule 3 - Oil Pastel and Chalk
Not really coloring materials, but Glitters or Sand + Glue and Clay get killed here too.
KO'd at Rule 4 - Fineliners, Colored gel/ball pens and Colored Pencils
KO'd at Rule 5 - Colored Pens with broad sides

So... that leaves nothing that I can think of. No coloring material is perfect, sadly.
WHY? I will love the person who invents something to fulfill all my criteria FOREVER.

The perfect coloring material is yet to be discovered!

Jampacked 2010

Advanced post, 6:28 pm of Monday, January 11, 2010. :)

There are a lot of concerts to watch out for! :D
  1. Ne-Yo (Tapos na 'to. :)) )
  2. Boys Like Girls and Hed Kandi - January 27
  3. The Killers - January 31
  4. Kris Allen, Boyce Avenue and Jabbawockeez - Feb 6
  5. Paramore - March 9
  6. Owl City - March 14
The only ones I really, really want to watch are The Killers and Paramore though. :D But I don't think I can go on the 31st, wala na akong pera eh. HUHUHU. :( [Pa-sponsor naman dyan. :-"] Summer na namin when Paramore gets here, so I REALLY want to watch it! I'm adding that to my goals. :)

WARNING: High levels of Geekiness ahead. Caution is advised. =))

Anyway. :)) Marami ring games na irerelease this year na KAILANGAN kong makuha!
  1. Mass Effect 2
  2. Fallout: New Vegas
  3. Diablo 3
  4. Starcraft 2
  5. Bioshock 2
  6. Final Fantasy 13
  7. God of War 3 (Kaso, PS3 only. :( )
Oh wow. Ang dami. @-) Wala namang kwenta rin though, kasi hindi pa rin okay yung PC ko. :| I have to get that fixed! Priority for now is Fallout: New Vegas. :D

Goals:
1. To lose 12 pounds - 0/12
2. ????? - 5/5 (Done!) 17/25
3. To find the course that I'm sure I want
4. To watch Paramore live
5. To get my PC fixed
6. To finish Fallout: New Vegas

And of course, those are just the listable things I'm looking forward to. :D
This year's going to be great!

Surprise Center

Another advanced post. :) Made on 5:32 pm January 11, 2009.

Last December 23, 2009, we went to Market Market as a family to buy gifts for our SUPER SECRET SURPRISE FAMILY EXCHANGE GIFT! :)) We each drew one other person (including Ryan) whom we would give a gift for Christmas. The idea was really exciting. :>

When we got there, everyone split up because we didn't want each other to know who we were buying gifts for. Pero a few minutes later, nagkita kami ni Kuya sa department store. :| Unexpected talaga, kaya natawa na lang ako nun. :)) Pero hindi niya alam na trick ko lang pala yun. Hahaha!

I finished buying my gift, but had to wait for Kuya before going to the place where we were going to eat. Medyo nagutom ako though, kaya bumili ako ng Lil Orbitz Mini-donuts (which, by the way, I think are very tasty =P~ ) and kumain akong mag-isa dun sa may open area. :)) Ang lungkot nga eh!

Then I decided to go back in kasi walang point na magstay dun. May mga nagyoyosi pa sa tapat ko, so hassle talaga. Hahaha. Nainis ako. :P

While I was walking, I heard a voice call out to me and tell me na naiwan ko yung cellphone ko dun sa inupuan ko. And yep, naiwan ko nga siya dun since it wasn't in my pocket. I turned around and saw that the person who called me was one of the people who were smoking in that area. Wowow, hindi ko inexpect yun. So nagthank you ako sa kanya, and got my phone. Even those you don't expect can help you out may sometimes surprise you with the good in their heart.

So I realized na naging judgmental ako against that person and felt bad. Hahaha.

It's bad to assume nga talaga. ;)

About Me: Writing

Hello future readers! I'm making this post now, and it's 4:22 pm of Monday, January 11, 2010. Scheduling this ahead of time because I have a feeling I won't be able to blog tomorrow. ;)

Just a while ago, I was reading entries from my old blog, Mr-Robby.blogspot.com. I was kind of surprised of the stuff I put there, kasi nakaktuwa talaga. HAHAHA, ANG VAIN! =)) Pero promise, I really love how I write sometimes. Pero feeling ko nag-iba na ngayon eh! :/

My first proper blog was in my Multiply. Medyo iba pa ako magtype nun, pero I also like how I wrote there kahit ga'no man kasabaw yung mga kinekwento ko. :)) Meron dun about swatting insects with a balloon stick, and licking the pool floor on a hot summer day. Hahaha, I was such a crazy little kid. (Wow, parang ang tanda ko na ah. :| ) Meron ring mga poems dun, na may pagka-emo. (Pero subtle yung emoness, kasi ayoko dating malabel ako na emo. :> )

Then I moved to my two former Blogger blogs. Behrobgoeswhoo and Mr-Robby! I really like those blogs, pero weirdo kasi ako eh. When I get too lazy and stop, I don't continue on my old blogs anymore. I make new ones. :)) But that's okay. Para fresh start lagi. :D Feeling ko lang na hindi ko mapapantayan yung dalawang older blogs ko, though. :(

I love writing. (Actually, typing nga yun eh. Pero gets na naman yun!)
Especially when I'm free to write in my own way, about things that interest me.

Kahit minsan lang ako magaling. =))

Sigh of Relief

Grabe! I haven't been able to blog kasi tinatapos ko yung Hilites. Now it's finally done. :) Nakakablog lang ako ngayon kasi hindi ako pumasok para ihabol 'to. :P Hahaha.

For the past so many days, I've been dealing with more than just lay-out. Ang drama kasi sa Hilites eh, and ang daming nangyayari kaya ang hirap lang talaga. I realized that I'm really not cut out to be a leader. Hindi ko kaya mangpressure ng iba, kasi ako mismo, ayaw nang nappressure. So ayun, instead of using my editor powerzzz to make my job easy, I just take everything on alone. Ayoko talagang namimilit, I can't do it. Oh well. :)

Intense pagod and stress ang dinanas ko dahil sa Issue # 2 na 'to. =)) But I think this is the best layout I've ever done so far. I actually had a bit of fun, kasi ngayon ko na lang nagamit ang skills ko ulit. Can't wait to see it out. YUN ANG PINAKAFULFILLING SA TRABAHONG ITO EH, YUNG MAKITA MO YUNG COMPLETED WORK. :D

I've had my share of being a disappointment for this issue rin, though. I'm not completely blameless. But I did my best to make up for it. Sorry naman kung hindi ko kinayang imeet yung deadline, ang dami lang talagang sabay-sabay na nangyari. :)

But I'm really proud of my work. Galing eh, ganun talaga pag pinaghirapan. :') It's not easy, but it's well worth it.

NOOOOBODY SAID IT WAS EAAASY, NO ONE EVER SAID IT WOULD BE THIS HAAAARD.

Joke, biglang kumanta eh. =))
HAHAHA.

Yikes, nahyper na naman ako sa kape. :))

College Course Choice

You Scored as Education/Counseling

You should strongly consider majoring in Education, such as early childhood education, middle childhood education, secondary education, or related majors (e.g., Vocational Education, Special Education, P.E./Physical Education).

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would--it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests. Psychology is a great minor for education majors.

Education/Counseling    81%
Visual&PerformingArts    75%
Religion/Theology    69%
Psychology/Sociology    69%
Biology/Chemistry/Geology    63%
Physics/Engineering/Computer    56%
English/Journalism/Comm    56%
HR/BusinessManagement    50%
Nursing/AthleticTraining/Health    50%
French/Spanish/OtherLanguage    44%
Accounting/Finance/Marketing    38%
Mathematics/Statistics    31%
History/Anthropology/LiberalArts    25%
PoliticalScience/Philosophy    19%

Check it out. :)) This test says I should go for Educ in college. Teaching is actually something I can see myself doing. Hahaha, but not for life! I want to try it though. :)

One thing I want to be able to do soon is be able to find a course that fits me. Hopefully, I can find one that fits me perfectly. :D

Goals:
1. To lose 12 pounds - 0/12
2. ????? - 5/5 (Done!) 17/25
3. To find the course that I'm sure I want

Who Let The Dogs Out?

Robby did.

If you're wondering, this is not Robby. Unfortunately Robby needs to finish layout for Hilites, so I'm here making a post for him. ;)

And yes, Robby let the dogs out...
...So blame him for all the ASKALS.
BWAHAHAHAHA!

Speaking of dogs, Imma tell you something.

I personally used to fear dogs and would usually say "San Roque" at the back of my mind whenever there's a dog nearby. Btw, Robby's cousin told me that San Roque is the patron saint of dogs, so if there's a dog coming your way, just keep on saying 'San Roque' and the dog won't bother you anymore. I used it twice already and it worked. Going back, I honestly don't know why I fear dogs, maybe because when I was young our dog chased me all over the house. Or maybe I just don't really like the idea of them licking any part of my body, I find it gross. But before 2009 ended I was able to face my fear and I was able to play with a dog AGAIN. Ever since that day, I wanted to buy a dog of my own.

Fortunately, my sister wants a new dog too, so we're planning to buy one. HOOORAY! While we were looking for a puppy online, I feel in love with this breed.

LHASA APSO.
Who wouldn't love this puppy?
It's soooooooooo cute.

I really hope I'd be able to get one.
Wish me luck. :D

English Essay on Happiness

Wala, nabasa ko lang ulit. :))
One of my favorite works, so I'll repost it here!

Made last October 28, 2009.
--------------------------------------

Yesternight, I was singing in the shower and I thought of the following lines as part of a song I was composing on the spot. I refuse to disclose the other parts of the song due to its weirdness. :D

“I’d smile even if a lightning bolt hit my head,
Because if I could, it means that I’m not dead.”

For me, happiness is realized in the fact that you’re alive. You have decisions to make, opportunities to grab, and time for many things to happen. There’s still so much more in store for you, I’m sure and it’s a waste not to realize this. Seize the day and look to the future as well. A little speed bump in the journey is just normal, and we shouldn’t quit just because we fail. Happiness comes from the will to continue living.

It’s also something that shouldn’t take much effort, because too much effort takes away happiness. It’s acquired in the simplicity of things around you. All around, you can find sources of happiness! Such as a fallen branch that you can swing around, pretending to be a hero of great swordplay skill. Of course, everyone will think that you’re a loser or weirdo of some sort but in all likeliness, they’re just jealous that you don’t let your inhibitions take over you. Trust me, that’s the real reason why they try to discourage you from doing such things. Society is naturally crab-minded. Happiness comes from the individual’s freedom from his shame and reticence.

Happiness is gratitude and appreciation for the ordinary. Always wanting more is greed, but we should always be wary of complacency. We will never be truly happy if we never are satisfied, and satisfaction is easier to achieve than you think. An open mind is all you need to see that there’s more to some things than can immediately be noticed. Realistic positivity will help you squeeze the happy sap out of every moment. Happiness comes from being absorbent of the veiled abundance that surrounds us.

But you know what, screw that crap. It’s nice and all, but it doesn’t help a person who’s in a hurry to understand what happiness to me is. So let me give you what happiness is in a nutshell.

Happiness is being able to smile a genuine smile, without awkwardness or hesitation.

The Size Problem

Don't you just hate clothes and how they have sizes?
Nakakainis talaga. Hahaha. When buying and keeping clothes, patalo talaga ang sizes.

Naalala ko lang kasi nung December 30, we went to Greenbelt and I was planning to buy a jacket. May nagustuhan na talaga ako, pero hindi talaga for me. The smallest size was too big for me. And it wasn't a matter of stock, wala talagang ganung hoodie na kakasya sa'kin. =))

Hassle pag ganun, diba?

Pero you know what they say, if walang size for you, it's not meant to be.
DOESN'T LESSEN THE FACT NA NAKAKABADTRIP SIYA, THOUGH. :))

Another thing about it is that people change!

Pag tumatangkad ka, magiging bitin na yung favorite pants mo. BOO. =))
Nangyari yun sa'kin before. HAY. Hahaha!

And during the same timeframe, pumayat ako. I lost 30 pounds in less than half a year! Imagine! Kahit yung mga shirts na sobrang konting times ko pa lang nagagamit, di na pwede sa'kin! Hindi pa rin ako masyadong nakakabangon from that. Ang konti pa rin ng clothes ko. HAHAHA. Oh well, price I had to pay to get thin.
Sana freesize na lang lahat ng bagay, or clothes na lang nag-aadjust sa'yo. :>

Secret Goal

About Me: Focus

Let A = Any given activity or task

For every A, I can be only one of two things. Either...
1. Extremely focused and determined on finishing it right away
2. Not at all paying attention to it and almost take forever to complete it

There's no middle ground. =))
The worst part is that I never get to choose which of the two I'll apply, A will always have 1 or 2 attached to it already. It's not a matter of choice, it just is. Kung tatamarin ako (number 2), tatamarin talaga ako kahit anong gawin ko. If something even just barely distracts me, mawawala na ako sa focus. Hahaha! Kung sipagin naman ako (number 1), magugulat na lang ako na tapos na pala ako. I'll be like an unstoppable force just working to plow through every step until completion. :> Cool nga pag ganun na lang sana lagi. :)) Oh well. :P

I guess it all depends on interest.

The more interested I am in A, the more likely I am to be 1.
And sa drive/motivation. Pag mapush talaga ako magstep-up, I probably will be 1.
Ganun naman lahat diba? :) Pero extreme lang talaga ako. Hahaha.

Focus is both my strong and weak point. :)

Holiday Tally.

And my final count for total weight gained during the holidays is...

4 pounds.

That's not really too surprising for me. It's a lot, though. But less than I thought. Pero ayaw ko pa rin na naggain ako ng weight. Hahaha. It's really starting to get to me that some time during the past year, I weighed 14 whole pounds less. I really let myself go. :))

So as part of starting off to a great new year, I have set myself a goal of losing 12 pounds.
And this will be a side segment of my blog. Someone PLEASE remind me to post an update on 1st and 16th of every month.

Another thing I'll have on my blog is a list of goals.
I want it to grow, grow, grow! :)

Goals:
1. To lose 12 pounds - 0/12
2. ?
3. ?

So there you have it. My first substantial post. :D
