Happiness Hunting

Happiness is just hearing that what you have done made a positive difference to people you know.

I just want to look for sources of happy right now. It's quite heartwarming to hear words that make the things you do matter.

Robby: We (Hilites Magazine) got two Teddies?
Robby: How come I don't hear about these things?
Orville: YEAH!!
Robby: :))
Orville Zosa: you didn't know?
Orville Zosa: =))
Orville Zosa: teamwork
Orville Zosa: and breakthrough project for the sesqui
Orville Zosa: :>
Robby: Well, of course. :>
Orville Zosa: CONGRATS!!
Robby: :))

I did quite a lot for Hilites' Sesqui Issue. And it really made me happy so much good things from people when it came out. Especially when our moderator congratulated the Org for a job well done. More than a month after the issue came out, and it still gets recognition. And this time, it's official. Good work, Hilites. :D

And of course, good job to you too, Robby. :)

Last Saturday, I helped Lian with her speech by thinking up and trying out the demonstration she wanted to present. I took pictures of the whole test, which she ended up using instead of having to redo the demo in front.

Robby: Kamusta naman yung speech mo? Hahaha.
Lian: ok naman!
Lian: :)

...

Lian: may nagcomment sakin... "commendable illustration" :>
Lian: naks
Robby: WOAH. :))
Robby: HAHAHA.
Lian Vega: NAKS NAMAN SA ILLUSTRATION MO ANO
Lian Vega: :>

...

Robby: Galing
Robby: Tumeamwork tayo ah. :))
Robby: Buti na lang bored ako nun!
Lian: :>
Lian: I KNOW RIGHT
Lian: I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL
Lian: =))
Robbeh: YES NAMAN
Robbeh: GUMAGANON.
Robbeh: =))

So those are two of the things that made my day. :)
I'mma go get my spear and hunt for some more. :>

What were you saying? *bite bite bite*

Dogs can't understand us when we speak. If one was chasing after you, and you screamed "DON'T BITE ME, I DON'T TASTE GOOD!" at it, it would still go after you and eventually bite you. Even if the dog has been with you as a pet for several years, it would only be able to understand basic commands.

When I got home from school today, I immediately played with our dog. Bagong ligo and bagong toothbrush kasi, so ang bango pa niya. Hahaha. I just kept hugging it, lifting it up, scratching its tummy, petting its head and stuff like that. Chuckie's awesome.

And when I was lying down on the floor, quite tired from all that playing with him, he started going after my hand and was licking it. I didn't really mind until it started biting. I could tolerate it, but got annoyed after some time so I hid my hand from him. I started pressing his head down while petting him so that he couldn't bite my hand, and he just laid down for a while. He stopped, but later on resumed biting. This time, I just let him bite all he wanted.

I didn't like his biting, but that's just how puppies are. They bite stuff because their teeth itch. I understood that, so I never took it against Chuckie.

How is it that I can understand my dog, but not people that are really close to me, for doing things that might not exactly make me happy? It makes me feel stupid when I think about it that way.

Change that, Robby.
Change the things you think are stupid.

I wish I was more understanding.
I don't want to be so selfish.

Thought Splurge # 2

Hellooooo, everyone!

I've been so stressed and busy lately. School is just so tiring. Burn out na kung burn out. :))
Currently blogging on Daddy's Blackberry. It's going to be gone soon, might as well use it up. >:) Wahahaha! Wawasakin at uubusin ko 'to. :>

Okay, super sabaw naman you, Robby. =)) Pagbigyan niyo na ako please, abo na lang 'ata natitira sa skull ko. Nasunog na yung utak ko completely. :| Gusto ko tuloy kumain ng barbeque or something. =P~ HOMAYGAAAAAHD. =))))

Konti na lang, summer ko na! 2 weeks na lang, then exams na. I'm uper excited, friends. I'm sooooo ready for boredom talaga. Ayoko naaaa! :)) Mas mabuti nang mabato kaysa mapuyat! I think. Pero I bet, in two months, I'll be wanting to go to school na. =)) AY, hindi pala! Ayoko pa maging Senioooor. :(( I wanna stay in HS pa rin. Booooooo.

College. Ugh, not for me. :))
Sa totoo lang, ayoko na magcollege eh.
Bum na lang me! :D

Anyway, ang sabog ko na. Hahaha.
I'll try to blog in the coming days. :)

Dreams

How often is it that you're in control of your dreams?

For me, never. I don't ever get to control my dreams. :( I really, really want to though. It would be really great to do anything you want, being limited only by your imagination. Wow. :))

But actually, I'd rather have some of my dreams the way they are. If I've ever told you about any of them, you'd know how weird most of them are. And I mean that with much innocence. :D They're just plain crazy and random. Hahaha.

Sometimes, I get such interesting dreams that I force myself back to sleep when I wake up. And that's not that rare of an occurence! Kung meron lang kasing save points sa dreams, ang saya nun o. Haha! You'll have an alternate story about yourself to follow when you're asleep. :D

I love how my dreams are, because they put me in scenarios that I could never think myself into. In a sense, I'm more creative when I'm unconscious. =)) Strange, I know. But it's awesome.

It also works against me sometimes, though. When I have bad days, I'm almost 100% sure to get a nightmare. And in these bad dreams, negative realities are pushed to their extremes and I just wake up feeling horrible. That's why it's a policy for me to always try my best to end my day on a high note.

I wish there was a way to induce dreams when you sleep every night. :))
